Does anyone have any info on this branch? The job has long hours, but good pay so I wouldn't need to take any side jobs.

Also, how's Mokdong?

I've heard of them (there's one in Pyeonchon, Anyang) I haven't heard anything bad about them. But nothing good either.

I have known several teachers who have worked there...all varying stories of the situation. Mokdong is a nice area to live, but the branch you speak of is actually Sinjeong dong on the same subway line and very close. The mokdong/omokgyo area is nice. Good luck.

Worked there in 2002-2003. Got payed on time and had nice apartments. Heavy work schedule. Of course I'm sure the staff has completely changed since then.

Mok-Dong is one of the nicer neighbourhoods to work in.

Thanks for the responses. I'm not too worried about the workload right now, because the pay is high enough I don't need to worry about getting any extra jobs to supplement my income (which is what I would have to do if I took a lower paying job).

How long does it take to get into central Seoul? Does anyone know about how much a taxi would be from either Itaewon or Hongdae?

What do they pay now? I worked for an LCI in Seoul, and found it thoroughly unpleasant. I'd need 3.5M to make it worth it.

I work in Hongdae...and from sinjeong negorie to work it takes about 25 - 35 mins on subway...15-20 by bus, and taxi is about 8 - 10,000 won ...all depend on the time of day and such...

There is an advert on the job board that specifically mentions LCI kids club Pyungchon, what does anyone know about that area and has anyone taught there?
