i looked through the website for it online and i couldn't find my answer...i figured i'd ask if anyone has experience with this first...

so i'll have been out of the country working in South Korea for more than 212 days...i didn't apply for the long term coverage before leaving Ontario. does this mean i will have to apply for a new health card when i get home or will my coverage automatically resume upon my arrival home at the end of april when i head home? i have the original red and white card and i really don't want to go through the hassle of the new photo cards...

any insight or experience on this is greatly appreciated Smile

thank you

If you fudge the truth, yes.

I have a very incompetent family doctor, but he was willing to fudge the truth-but if you declare non-residency, that's a different story altogether.

my family doctor works with my mom, so he's actually a family friend...i didn't file for non-residency, so i think i should be on the safe side...thanks for the input...
