| possible....? The only route I know is through the tunnel which obviously involves the toll.. I've heard there is a route through the mountains, fact? |

| Try heading towards the Namhae freeway - towards jin-young. From jin young you can get into Changwon on a country road but it'll be the far side (north?), not the way into Changwon from the tunnel. Good luck. |

There is a road over the mountains, i have done it a couple of times but it is very narrow and a little dangerous....
Just go towards Bulmosan, there is a road i heard they might be shutting it down though but you won't know until you try.... |

Just checeked on Google earth, it is still certainly there...
If you are unsure look at Google earth and this should give youa pretty good idea.... |
