Does Korea have the strong pain killers? I completely Effed-up my knee and the extra strength Tylenol isn't cutting it, at all.
What can you get over the counter, and what can you get from a doctor? |

See a real doctor, not a hoodoo voodoo old Korean or Chinese doctor, and you can get some good prescriptions. Over the counter sucks. |

See a doctor as OTC pain pills are much much weaker stregth than American OTC pills. For example, ibuprofen is great for pain, but Korea's OTC ibuprofen does nothing. Don't expect any more narcotics than the rump shot you get in the doctor office. Too bad as narcotics, benzos, and sleeping pills are good drugs to make life a little easier.
Just go to a doctor and try to get what you can to help. Dont' be surprised if only prescribed 3 days of whatever it is you get in a little packet. We're talking skimpy quantities as to keep people under medicated so they won't be drug addicts. The soju holds it's place in the hall of shame in place of good drugs. |

Oh, and find out what you are taking. This may require a very western or English-speaking doctor. Make sure you aren't taking antibiotics as they are super over-prescribed in Korea. |
