I can get a roundtrip ticket to Manila for under 400,000 won, but I'm wondering how to get good prices on tickets that'll take me to places like Boracay or Davao. I saw one site where it said a roundtrip ticket from Manila to Boracay is 8,200 pesos (205 U.S. dollars) on either SEair or Asian Spirit.

I assume those were flights into Caticlan.

You could try Air Philippines and get to Kalibo. It is usually about 1/2 that price but does require a 2 hour ride in a v-hire.

I am surprised that the Seair flights are that much. They are usually about 1/2 that rate for a round trip.

Cebu Pacific also has go-fares that can be dirt cheap for some domestic flights / routes and you can price shop the dates/flights to get your best deal.

Depending when you go, you can get good fares from Asian Spirit at their site: http://www.asianspirit.com

When I flew with them to Batanes a week ago, I saw in their in-flight magazine that they have fares to Caticlan (Boracay) for a promo fare right now of 699 pesos (w/o tax). But even with tax, it wouldn't be that bad. That was one way though, so you might be looking at max there 4,000 pesos....but like the poster before me said, there may be some other routings you want to try.
