Schools In For Celebrities

Concerned parents have hit out over plans for a new reality series in which a group of celebrities take over a school.

Celebrity School will see ten well-known faces replace teachers at a school in the north of England for a period of three months.

The as-yet-unconfirmed line-up of celebrities, which is said to include a glamour model, an ex-boyband singer and a former weather-girl, will attempt to teach the secondary school children a wide range of subjects including English, Maths and Geography.

At the end of the three-month period, the pupils will sit exams and the celebrity whose class achieves the highest marks will win the series.

However, parents of children at the school are said to be up in arms over the plans after it emerged that the ten stars taking part have got only five GCSEs between them.

One parent, who didn't want to be named, said: "It's outrageous to have uneducated wannabes teaching our children. This is not just some fun TV show, they are messing with our children's future."

Flora Panoli Productions, who are making the programme, declined to comment.

I just assumed the parents had agreed. How is it legal to do this if the parents don't agree?

I can see where you're coming from, I'm more ashamed about the fact that it's celebrities doing it. Uneducated idiots, I'm sure the teachers are meant to know more than the students, on this occasion.....

What's next "Celebrity Hospital Doctor" we follow Paris Hilton working for three months as a heart surgeon, get ready for some hilarity..........
