I do know that the Shisha House is located nearby. Something really good to do on your off-time if you are into that kind of thing. |

I love that area of Daejon. I lived around there for 4 years. I was told Hannam U has the beautiful women and Chungnam Nat'l has the handsome boys. |

You will be living on campus in a pretty small staff dormitory with a shared laundry and kitchen last time I was there. Also, you will be working pretty high hours per week for a university position, maybe 15-20standard, from what I heard from last. Split shifts can also be an issue. However, if you want to make money then it's possible to make in excess of 3.5 million with all the overtime. Vacations at Chungnam are not comparable to a good university position, maybe 2 months total scattered across the year. If you have a masters and at least a years experience, stay away. If you have a BA and no university experience then it's a pretty good stepping-stone to something better. Ah, one more thing, management can be a little disorganised, and if you are a female smoker they will try to fire you for that sole reason. |
