Has anyone seen this before? I did a search here but came up with nothing...

I just came across this video that I posted on my blog, which was eye-opening, to say the least. It has some footage of "Dear Leader" Kim, Jong-il's bodyguards going through training and, well, it's a bit more intense than my daily Hapkido class.

Dodging thrown knives, having multiple two-by-fours broken over your back, legs, and arms, being beaten with metal pipes, having a shovel thrown at your stomach (tip first! - how many times would that happen when protecting KJI?), breaking rock with your bare hands...all in a day's work, it would seem.

Check it out.

Edit - fixed link...

I'm still waiting for the next movie, "KJI Bodyguards II."

It was due to be released this summer, however, they are seeking a few new actors. Apparently, it's difficult to get muscular-looking concentration camp workers who are able to protect the deal leader from a JDAM.

Filming has been delayed.

You can click on some short vdeo links here -- http://1stopkorea.com/index.htm?nk-videos.htm~mainframe -- that offer a glimpse of the arirang festival & a quite amazing schoolkids' drum performance.

These mass game deals are said to be the largest human spectacle ever performed. Fascinating. Anyone have more definitive links?

You can do a lot when you deprive 95% of the population of your country and give it to 5%, who perform such spectacles.
