'Allo my English Chums,
Here's my situation, I've been offered a job in S.Korea, and my employer wants me out there pronto - I'm currently in London. I'm waiting for a Subject Access to be sent to me, and its taking bloody ages. I applied on the 26th February and I know it takes up to 40 days, but I'm getting impatient and so is my prospective employer. Now, I have an old Enhanced CRB check from March 2007, which clearly states I have no convictions, etc. Can this be apostillised and used to obtain an E-2 visa in place of Subject Access form?
Rule Britannia,

I can't speak as to whether an "Enhanced CRB check" is acceptable to Immi. But the check you have is not, as it's dated March 2007. Immi regulations state that the background check can be no more than six months old. Note that this is a very recent update; 3 months was the previous limit. |

Was the basic accepted then? If so, when? |
