I made a mistake earlier and got the Bangkok pay wrong, it's much higher than I indicated before
Accomodations not provided
Similar work conditions, working hours, vacation time
I need to make a fast decision as all three are looking for my response in the same time frame
I'm not knocking Korea it's just not an option at the present time. I'd consider Seoul or Busan if they had the vacancy. |

| I've never been to any of these countries so I have no idea what they are like aside from what I have been able to read and look at on the net. They are for teaching university prep Calculus/Algebra etc. My preference is for Malaysia because I think it has the biggest savings factor though Bangkok is tempting. I woudn't mind being in the UK for London 2012. Thanks for your replies. |

| There's no life after Korea. People look at you funny if you've lived and worked here. The negative treatment you get in other countries goes up exponentially with the number of years you have here under your belt. |

| Yingwenlaoshi, I think I know what you mean. Living in Korea is like being MIA so I strongly urge people that come here to teach ESL to document what they've done, and get references both written and by phone. We need more than our passport stamps and a photo album when it's time to look for something outside of Korea. |

Meh. I don't need no stinking references. |

No amount of money in the world would make me work in England. Especially teaching. No way! London 2012 is going to be the biggest kock-up ever, and will most likely ruin British taxpayers for decades to come.
Working in Bangkok does not appeal at all for the same reason that I have no interest in living in Seoul or Busan. Big city life is not for me. If you can get a higher paid job out in the countryside in Thailand then probably.
So Kuala Lumpar it'll be. Although I'd expect a fair bit of humidity. But out of the three would probably go with this one.
That's assuming I have to definitely pick one...... |

I've been to all three. I used to live in KL.
All round, I would choose KL. Especially at that salary.
You'd have more fun in Thailand though. Thats why the salary is lower. |

| Good input, thank you. It's really hard to make a comparison when I don't have personal experience but I've found some good online sources of photos, cost of living estimates etc. |

KL. get bored with it, you'll have plenty of money to buy a ticket on air asia to go somewhere else.
Don't go to the UK with those other two options. |
