Can we put this to rest? It's a bit tired. Yeah, we get it, Korea doesn't live up to the absurd phrases chosen by its government bureaucrats. Shocking. It deserved to be mocked at first, but we need to direct all the rapier wit on here at new targets.

Why not just ask us to stop breathing? It's what we are, it's what we do.

I agree. And while we're at it, how about laying off the "Korea has 4 seasons" jokes.

What? Are you now the hubcap of appropriateness when it comes to mocking?

Too true.

Everyone knows that Korea has 5 seasons: winter, yellow dust, spring, summer and fall.

I agree with this. I'm the first guy in line with a "beacon of democracy and light of the world" crack when some American rapper shoots up a club or some white guy kills some college kids. And I'm also there with a "Korea Sparkling" when a middle school girl is raped by 800 men. They brought it upon themselves, after all.

Still telling people what to do I see. The arrogance is quite breathtaking.

Nit picking here. Yellow dust is just an annoyance. The 5th season is Rainy Season. And YES, it is a season that is distinctly different than the one that comes before and the one that comes after.

Sorry, nope, not gonna stop. I really like Third World Sparkling. And someone here has Korea Staring under his avatar, which is brilliant.

The four seasons jokes are also fun. My own take on that is as follows: Winter, Dust, Humidity, Mosquitoes.

If you don't like them, you're not obliged to read them.

Don't let it bother you BB. It won't be long before another slogan is trotted out.
