A Korean friend of mine got an iPod touch and wants to use itunes. Since there is no iTunes in Korea, is there any way for him to subscribe to itunes?

I was thinking maybe he can setup a paypal account tied to his Korean visa/mastercard.

I think he said the major problem was inputting the address. iTunes won't recognize Korean address.

That is correct. I had to open two paypal accounts up since I no longer have a bank account in the US. I opened one with a Korean address and one with a US address. I just sent money from my Korean paypal to the US paypal and then signed up with Itunes using the US paypal. Pain in the a*s, but it works great.

See what you've done!!

Your constant blind allegiance promotion of the icrap touch has led this poor Korean to purchase the icrap touch.

Now even he's realized the icrap really is crappy. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Try this site....

http://ituneshop.net/

The site even has Korean so you're friend will have no problems buying a prepaid iTunes card. All he needs is an international credit card.

After he gets the code, all he has to do is create an iTunes account by redeeming the card and entering 'no credit card'.
