I am flying home with my dog and it looks like I won't be able to avoid flying to Tokyo first, then on to the US. Does anyone know if I will have any trouble bringing my dog through the airport in Japan? She might be coming in the cabin with me so I would have her with me in the airport and I would like to be able to walk her outside before I catch my connecting flight. If anyone has traveled with pets and has any information, I would appreciate it. |

Connections usually indicate that you will not be going outside of the connecting airport. You would have to pay extra I think to be allowed to go outside, and it would have to be arranged when the ticket was initially purchased. Think of your dog as a carryon. If you get the dog on the plane from Korea, you should have no problem getting the dog on the plane in Japan. |
