Looking for an area close to Incheon, where there are some reasonably priced (but nice) love motels. She is getting in around 8pm, so she's going to be exhausted. We are going to want to just go somewhere close, eat, then go relax..
any suggestions? |

Love motels are everywhere, and if you don't see one, get in a taxi and say "Yeogwan."
Wolmido is a good place in Incheon as they have tons of restaurants, bars, noraebangs, carnival rides and it's on the water's edge. |

역한 Is that the directions I tell a cabbie?
I know there are a ton of love motels everywhere, was just hoping for a place close by with some good restuarants, and a good motels.
Anyway chance the motels will be booked solid, like on Fri/Sats after 9pm? |

Between 7-11 oclock is prime time for couples wanting use the rooms for short time purposes. After 11 oclock would be a good time to book a room for all night. |

There are some around the Bupyeong area that are pretty good and there are restaurants as well.
Juan Station has some as well that I know of. Those are the only two places i have been with my wife.
www.hotel365.co.kr is one site that can help you out if you can read Korean.
You can pay a little extra to get the room for the night. That is what we always do. |

Come to shitty Sangbong - where you're never more than 50 metres from a Love Motel. You could always take the missus to Costco while you're there and grab a slice of pizza. |

I'm looking for a place within 10 stops of the airport, she's not going to want to travel around all night on the subway. She's lived here before for 2 years, so we are just looking for a nice area to go and have a meal and talk, cause we haven't seen each other in a while....

I'll recommend the Incheon Guest House. It's reasonably priced, modern, and has large rooms with kitchen facilities. Two to three minutes drive from the airport (free shuttle - phone, they'll pick you up); and there's lots of restaurants and hoffs in the immediate area.
I stay there the night before when I have a early morning flight out of ICN. |

Wolmido is on the border of the West sea. If you have a map of Incheon, find the station that's the furthest West and get a cab from there. I don't know Incheon subway station well. |

I'd recommend this too. I stayed there before flying off. The rooms are really nice. It's not far and there's place to eat. You could even eat upstairs (3rd floor?) at the airport and then head off to the room after. The number is (032) 743 0979. You'll probably need to book because they do run out of rooms, they'll pick you up from the airport. Think it was about 40 000 for the room
I would not recommend a Yagwon. Not the nicest places to stay if you're wanting something nice......but they serve their purpose. |
