You know when you walk out of Anyang station, the first thing you see directly ahead of you is that big shell of a building that was never finished? When I first got here, I figured they were still working on it but since then they haven't made any progress. Also, it's in the picture on the Anyang wiki so I think it's been there for quite awhile.

Why haven't they torn it down? Just curious.

I don't know how long it's been there.

However, near where my friend lives in Seoul there is a huge shell of what was supposed to be a gigantic department store. It was being built just before the Asian financial crisis. When shit hit the fan, people went bankrupt, investors pulled, and the department store has been left unfinished for 10 years.

I'm assuming the same thing for this building.
