It's kind of rare now because WWE has made most sites pull the video.

http://www.bebo.com/FlashBox.jsp?FlashBoxId=5852179470&

It happened during the "No Way Out" pay-per-view, and reportedly Floyd will be paid between 4 and 5 million dollars to participate in an angle leading up to a match between them at "Wrestlemania" in Orlando, March 30. ...

The punch probably landed by mistake, and Floyd looks like he was running away to save his life ...

The link I posted is better (comes in very clear and they show a lot of replays) but I think it might require an updated flash player...
http://www.bebo.com/FlashBox.jsp?FlashBoxId=5852179470&

I don't see how the script writers figured Floyd could throw a realistic-looking combination like that without running the risk of doing some real damage.

Big Show looked and sounded really pissed, and you can hear Shane McMahon mutter to him that "it wasn't supposed to happen" like that ...

It's not that rare, but it's been mostly pulled. (Maybe I'll change the title to "sports-entertainment blooper clip" ...)

It's odd that mainstream media networks like ESPN and Fox sports haven't featured it more yet ...

Isn't violence, and revelling in violence, bad karma?

I hope he doesn't have a blood disease. He was just spitting that crap everywhere.

Violence is sometimes necessary, and some types enjoy doing and many enjoy watching violent contact sports like boxing, wrestling, and MMA.

I don't think it's so bad as long as the combatants are willing participants (and not gladiators thrown to the lions...)

Martial arts have been around since ancient Vedic times, and even Krishna (considered by many great sages of India to be God) was involved in a wrestling tournament 5000 years ago.

According to legend, He was only about ten years old, and his demonic uncle arranged for some powerful professional wrestlers to kill him at the arena.

It turned out to be a tag-team match as Krishna's brother (and first expansion, Balarama) joined him to take on the two strongest wrestlers in what the crowd feared was a gigantic mismatch, considering the the differences of size, age, and experience.

Here's an excerpt from Krishna Book (a summary study of the tenth canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam) describing that pastime - which also including "run-ins" at the end by other wrestlers...

...When Lord Krsna, the Supersoul of every living being, understood that the ladies in the assembly were anxious for Him, He decided not to continue wrestling but to kill the wrestlers immediately. The parents of Krsna and Balarama, namely Nanda Maharaja, Yasoda, Vasudeva and Devaki, were also very anxious because they did not know the unlimited strength of their children. Lord Balarama was fighting with the wrestler Mustika in the same way that Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, was fighting and wrestling with Canura. Lord Krsna appeared to be cruel to Canura, and He immediately struck him thrice with His fist. The great wrestler was jolted, to the astonishment of the audience. Canura then took his last chance and attacked Krsna, just as one hawk swoops upon another. Folding his two hands, he began to strike the chest of Krsna, but Lord Krsna was not even slightly disturbed, no more than an elephant that is hit by a flower garland. Krsna quickly caught the two hands of Canura and began to wheel him around, and simply by this centrifugal action, Canura lost his life. Krsna then threw him to the ground. Canura fell just like the flag of Indra, and all his nicely decorated ornaments were scattered hither and thither.

Mustika also struck Balarama, and Balarama returned the stroke with great force. Mustika began to tremble, and blood and vomit flowed from his mouth. Distressed, he gave up his vital force and fell down just as a tree falls down in a hurricane. After the two wrestlers were killed, a wrestler named Kuta came forward. Lord Balarama immediately caught him in His left hand and killed him nonchalantly. Another wrestler of the name Sala came forward, and Krsna immediately kicked him and cracked his head. Another wrestler named Tosala came forward and was killed in the same way. Thus all the great wrestlers were killed by Krsna and Balarama, and the remaining wrestlers began to flee from the assembly out of fear for their lives. All the cowherd boy friends of Krsna and Balarama approached Them and congratulated Them with great pleasure. While drums beat and they talked of the victory, the leg bells on the feet of Krsna and Balarama tinkled.....

After the match, demonic uncle, King Kamsa, tried to rally the crowd against Krishna and his parents and friends, which led to his demise - via "ground and pound".

If Big Show had not initially gone down on his knees, Mayweather couldn't have even reached his nose, much less break it.

So was that actually on the PPV or was that for a segment that didn't air? I couldn't hear any commentators (though these speakers are kind of bad). Were there commentators?

It was on the "No Way Out" pay-per-view, and it looks to be a great story-line angle that they'll develop right up till "Wrestlemania" (March 30 in Orlando.)

I heard (reported on "Between the Ropes") that Mayweather has already agreed to take part - for between 4 and 5 million dollars - after the WWE couldn't land Oscar de la Hoya - a much bigger PPV draw.

Here's an article I found:

The World Wrestling Entertainment return of Paul "Big Show" Wight was upstaged by an even bigger name.

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather confronted Wight on last Sunday's "No Way Out" pay-per-view show. The undefeated welterweight was dwarfed by the 7-foot, 400-pound Wight, but Mayweather did land some punches that legitimately bloodied Big Show's nose.

Mayweather then appeared on this week's "Monday Night Raw" (9 p.m. EST, USA Network) and accepted Wight's challenge for a March 30 bout at "Wrestlemania 24" in Orlando, Fla.

A match pitting Mayweather and Rey Mysterio against Wight and Shane McMahon (who reportedly negotiated Mayweather's WWE appearance) was originally a possibility. Mysterio, though, is believed out of "Wrestlemania" -- and what would have been a sizable payday -- because of a torn right biceps.

WWE seems likely to pit Mayweather and Big Show in a wrestler-vs.-boxer match. Incidentally, Wight was training in boxing while contemplating a career change during his 14-month WWE hiatus.

WWE owner Vince McMahon Jr.'s father also promoted the same kind of bout on a major show in 1976. In one of the most memorable matches of its time, Andre the Giant defeated boxer Chuck Wepner via countout after dumping him over the top rope.

McMahon Jr. has used boxers at previous "Wrestlemanias" in various capacities, most notably Muhammad Ali (I/guest referee), Mike Tyson (XIV/ringside enforcer) and Eric "Butterbean" Esch (XV/knocked out Mike "Bart Gunn" Polchlopek in a "Brawl for All" match).

Tyson's main-event appearance was a smashing success, boosting the "'Mania" pay-per-view buy rate and also helping to raise the profile of emerging star "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Tyson counted Austin's pinfall of Sean Michaels and then KO'd the "Heartbreak Kid" with a punch afterward.

Mayweather appeared in two boxing matches last year that drew a combined 3.4 million pay-per-view orders. But Mayweather may not be able to carry such magic to "Wrestlemania," which was already expected to draw in the range of 1 million worldwide orders. WWE traditionally hasn't had much crossover appeal to boxing fans, while the promotion's mainstream image remains tainted from the fallout of last June's murder/suicide by Chris Benoit.

Still, Mayweather was wise to get involved with sports entertainment than another legitimate fighting genre like the mixed martial arts. After improving his boxing record to 39-0 with last December's TKO of Ricky Hatton, Mayweather spoke about wanting to get involved in the MMA ventures being started by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Mayweather, though, would need years of training in jiu-jitsu, wrestling and kickboxing to avoid being the kind of one-dimensional fighter who gets dismantled in today's MMA world.

Neither of them is in the same class as Krishna since He is the greatest unified holder of the God-title.

Muhammad Ali would say that Allah is the greatest, and Christians have other names for the Almighty Lord, but their conceptions of God are not as great as Krishna, who is unlimitedly beautiful, powerful, intelligent, wealthy, renounced, and famous throughout innumerable universes.

Jesus and Muhammad are pure fragmental portions of the same Absolute Person (who's known by different names.)

All qualities that we have - negative or positive - are present in the personality of Krishna in their unlimited pure form.

Many of us have a fighting propensity because God has that propensity in its pure form to an unlimited degree.

Never bet against the blue guy ...

I think it is a work - Krishna set the whole thing up (including empowering the "bad guys") for his own amusement...

God has nothing to do but enjoy sporting (and loving) pastimes ...

But we have to work - as part of the "Big Show"...
