Recently I have given up on being polite. So these days I push and shove Koreans out of the way like they do to me.

I also joyously ram and slam my shoulders into Koreans who choose not to look where they are walking; in fact I bowled one over the other night.

It felt good; it feels good.

Has anyone else stopped being polite?

There was one time, when some Ajumma relentless pushed me in the back to get to a seat, ofcourse only seeing me from behind wouldn't have been enough to distinguish me from the regular Korean. But that day I felt terrible, the flu was weakening my body, my back was covered with sweat and I was feeling very cranky. I was moments away from retaliation but didn't bother due to my placid nature.. But boy did I mutter to myself in Korean (a few curse words) and put on a disgruntled face Laughing

I feel semi-violent reactions are the most satisfying. Try the shoulder ram; it works wonders! Very Happy

Having a large backpack really helps when it comes to the shoving. You can turn it to one side when someone isn't watching where they're going and nail them while feeling nothing yourself. And God help any ajuma or kid who pushes me from behind when there's someone in front of me and I can't bloody move forward anyways - the thing suddenly drops down onto their head.

I tend to walk faster than average people, so I'm probably more pushy than most Koreans already.

Another good thing to use is a 30-40 kg bag of wet dive gear. When you try to exit the KTX and the people on the platform have decided that they have to get on the train before anyone gets off it comes in handy. Just give it a good swing and send it down the stairs towards the platform. They go down like bowling pins.

I am interested in Korean women like I am interested in stomach cancer or a hole in the head; essentially not at all.

That takes care of that problem... Rolling Eyes

I'm the same way. The other day I was in line for a bus, and an ajumma came and just pushed me out of the way.... I cursed to myself and that was it. But now I've started cutting in line etc...... feels kind of nice.

The only time I do that kind of thing is when I get off the subway. I stand right in the middle of the doorway, and as soon as the doors slide open I walk straight out. Whoever is in the way gets shoved aside. Idiots shouldn't be standing right in the middle.

Doesn't make me feel hard. Rolling Eyes Just gives me a little satisfaction that the ignorant bastards didn't get their own way for a change.

Miles, a stern shoulder when getting off elevators or the subway is a must. When pushed from behind, a loud, deep "hey" with mean eyes scares people.

Also, what about peaceful Muslims? Most are not jihadists, just like most black people don't carry 9mms.

I'm the same- if someone shoves me, I shove back.

And before someone asks me sarcastically if I 'feel big and strong' when I do this, let me say that it does in the sense that it always feels good to give people what they deserve.

That being said, if people make an effort to get out of my way, I make sure to get out of theirs too.

I agree. Not all Muslims are Jihadists...but the question is: how does one combat the Koran (used by Jihadists) with the Koran (used by liberal Muslims); sounds like O2 and Fire to me...

Like the Bible I guess: Pick and choose the good parts and especially ignore all preachers and churches.

I've noticed younger girls tend to be more submissive, letting you get pass, moving out of the way, etc... at least they do with me. Guys well, it's a mixed bag really. As for anyone older than you... Well you can forget it. Either it's shoving wars or moving out the way.
