I really want to score one of those gigs when my current public school contract is up in August. Are they difficult to get into? Do you need lots of experience? A certain look and accent, etc? |

I think the government provide free elementary education.
So private schools may be more exclusive and fewer of them.
Teachers at these types of school, tend not to change schools that often as they are happy with the conditions.
Finding a private High School will probably be easier, I not certain about the situation with middle schools. |

All depends on your experience and connections. Also depends where you are looking to live. A few buddies of mine often send around emails looking for people to "join the team" at their elementary school.
If you have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, it would be alot easier to get a job by yourself though. Just wait for the advertisements to come out in a few months. Don't forget to look at Pusanweb.com. I know there is a big school in DongRae that hires teachers every semester. |
