Ok, so the NHL playoffs are about to start, and I'm dying to see some hockey , not just highlights. Anyone know if they get games here in Korea? Or maybe bars with satellite TV that might show games? Or if not, places online that I can download games from?

I

need

hockey.

I was flicking around this morning around 7.30am and I came across New Jersey vs Philadelphia. It was only highlights, but maybe they show the full games too. It was on channel 50 of Gangnam cable, maybe SBS Sports but I'm not sure. It definitely wasn't MBC ESPN though.

Sorry I don't have more info, I'm not a hockey fan

If you want live hockey do a google search for sopcast. You will have to download the player. Then go to this site: http://myp2p.eu/index.php?part=sports
There is a hockey heading, they will have some games streamed live. Although the quality isn't great, it is choppy at times, and can be grainy. If you are willing to pay the money, from nhl.com you can order the multimedia center ice package. I think the playoff package is $60. I paid $170 for the entire season. Well worth it, if you are a hockey fan.

If you're in Seoul, there are a couple of bars that will play tape-delayed games in the evenings. Beer O'Clock (Mokdong; across from Hyundae Dept.) and RMT (Itaewon & Hongdae) are your two best bets.

Beer O'clock....I get out at Mok's Dong Station. Please, then what? I roamed around there a lot back in early January during Winter Camp, but haven't been back since-I'd like to check the place out.

No, get out at Omokgyo station exit 3. Walk straight for about 100 metres and turn left and walk about 100 metres more and it is on your left, right across from Hyundae.

Or, just visit this sight:

Thanks-if it is equal to RMT, that saves me a bit of time commuting, and am always game to check out a new place, even though they start the games a bit later.

buy nhlcentericeonline and you'll be able to access all games from any and every computer you come across with t.v. quality reception

i paid under 200 hundred at the beginning of the year, and includes playoffs

last season there was a promo of free playoffs if bought the following season (you could do that this year too maybe)

go to nhl.com and follow the links to check it out

it really is awesome and easy and quick (nice having a split screen with four games simultaneously, then simply click to enlarge one of them, esc to go back to four on a screen)

You can watch games live, free, without installing anything here.

Regular season games need an install but not the playoffs (at least so far).

I think most of the Canadian games are blocked using that web cast site.
The Sens and Habs games and a few of the Flames games say "live video available in Canada only".
