Anyone know a good site to find an apartment in Seoul? It looks like I am going to take a job that wants me to find an APT myself. Id much rather the place was furnished, if that helps narrow the list.

Check out www.englishspectrum.com That's where I found my aparment. You won't be able to sort anything out until you are already in Korea though.

The guy's name is Arthur Choi. He speaks enough English to get the job done.

I tried to use a few Korean websites to find an apartment, but I soon found out that it is common practice to advertise places that don't exist, just to lure you into the agent's shop. A frustrating practice, and a waste of the customer's time...

One English website you could try is www.short-rent.com. But in general, it's best to just pick an area and go in person to a few real estate agents there - they will show you a good cross-section of what's available.
