Hello there,

I am looking for Korean language hagwons (ideally near nowon). Does anyone know of any?

I have studied at KLA in Kangnam but now want to study during the week. Unfortunately, I cant make any of the times at KLA anymore. Does anyone have any idea about YBM korean programme or timetable and fees?

(Tried a search but......)

I have a friend whose studying at YBM this month. She's studying in the evenings, 6 to 8 or 7 to 9? I can't recall.

I don't recall the price off the top of my head, it's fairly cheap. Really cheap.

But her teacher apparently just photocopies a ton of stuff from Sogang books. She doesn't much like the class because the group of students she's with is no fun and the teacher doesn't encourage spontaneous speaking, only the "right" speaking.

What I mean is that my friend, J, might say something like "If you want good friends, you just need to be rich," and the teacher doesn't find it at all funny. (She would HATE me, as my study sessions tend to turn into "you need to be rich" or "don't feel happy for him, he's only getting married because he's gay" and "I have become a noraebang helper girl pimp...")

She's studying near one of he Jongro--can't-remember--Gas.

She says she probably won't continue after this month.

Can you do Sogang at night? Any interest in that? I have ALWAYS heard good things about it. I wish I could do Sogang!
