Japan visa run...anyone done it lately w new e2 regs?

Hi everyone

I will be doing the Japan visa run next week sometime. (in Osaka I think)
Just wondering if anyone here has done it recently, how long did it take them?

I've heard since the new regs, now takes 2 days.

I'm getting my 2nd e2 visa, will be bringing my visa number from Korea.
Didn't need a crc or interview this time around.
