Hey guys - thanks for your help again,

Ok - I was almost practically with the Fed Ex packet in my hands ready to drop it off, with a position in, or near I should say, Yeonngwang, when I got an email from a teacher who used to work there telling me to not, under any circumstances, work there. This has been validated by others.

Now I've never worked in Korea before. So I know very little about the the place. Another recruiter, who is pissed off at me at this point, is offereing a posoition in Gunpo, and another in Bundang.

I had hoped to stay outside of Seoul - as I thought living in Seoul would limit my exposure to Korea. However, my brown a$$, has been warned that rural Korea may not be the best place to live - and h*ll, if I'm going to be there for a year, i really don't want to be miserable.

First off - am I being paranoid about Yeonngwang?

What is Gunpo like?

What is Bundang like?

Thanks, and any advice you have for a guy who is about to be homeless in three weeks would be greatly appreciated.

I heard from a lot of people that Bundang is nice. I, myself, have never been there.

Tman, why did the teacher tell you not to work in Yeonggwang?

Bundang is fairly clean, pretty, and well organized. However it's damn expensive for day-to-day living stuff.

What's so wrong with Public School in Yeonggwang that I should be aware of ???
If it's just isolation then i don't have a problem with it because ive dealt with that before. If it's problematic co-teachers, Principal etc, now that's another story.
