Hey, I'm moving to Korea in May for a year. I'm a very passionate white water kayaker and have kayaked all over the world. I've been looking into korea but haven't been able to find much information. I've come across some of the raft companies but they just seem to offer beginer trips. Does anybody out there do any or know of any good white water kayaking in korea? would appreciate any help. Cheers.

I went "whitewater" rafting last year with Adventure Korea. I could've handled the rapids in a 15 foot canoe, alone.

The only rafting I've done here is on the Naelinchon - maybe class III (probably II). It was a nice day, but a big letdown from the Gauley or New Rivers.

I know. I went 'white water rafting' as well. It was more 'row row row your boat, gently down the stream'....

We had to get out and 'push' the raft a few times. I mean it was fun in that we were out splashing around in the water and got to see the countryside, but not very exciting.
