Just out of interest, what are the requirements a waegook needs to get on the telly as an "english presenter"??
Do they have to pass an irritating personality test? Makes me curious sometimes what kind of skewed perception Koreans have of people from other countries, and to what extent this perception is deliberately created by the producers of english telly programs.... |

The producers cerimoniously lop off theirs balls with calbi scissors and remove the part of the brain responsible for "dignity." |

hmmmmm I suspected as much...
But where do these tv waegooks actually come from? Are they the result of some weird breeding program or genetic experiment involving "missing" foreign korean war soldiers?
Or were they press-ganged after found laying drunk in an Itaewon gutter? Surely they couldn't be just volunteers??? Money alone couldn't compensate for the shame....
And why the need for such idiocy on telly? Is it a ploy to make foreigners less intimidating?
Or is there something more sinister going on?? |

If Steve Revere is any guide, you need to be gayer than Richard Gere. |

I wondered if he was actually married or something to the chick he presents with.... but then i started thinking that with all the comestic surgery she's had (tell me those eyes are real) she couldn't be married to a mere telly presenter.....
Actually maybe you're right....
That... um... characteristic... does seem to be common on the english channels... |

Piece of bad luck on that film, but few people would turn down something from the director of Chingu.
So what might we have seen you in? |

I think, if we're talking about the same person, her name is Lisa Kelly. I think she is bi-racial. This may explain the eyes.
Revere has mentioned at some time in the past he was engaged to be married but it was called off when he refused to go back to the U.S. after they were married. He wanted to stay in Korea. I guess his girlfriends parents didn't like the idea of their daughter being married to a white devil AND living in Korea. But I could be wrong. It's just something I heard him say one time. |

Don't know about the movies, but the tv shows certainly seem to be a korean inspired plot to make foreigners look silly, stupid and unthreatening.
I thought the Hagwons had already cornered that market. |
