After I'm done, I'll be doing the southeast asia thing. After checking the Canadian govt travel website and seeing the travel warnings I was wondering about what other people's thoughts and experiences. |

Those warnings are usually overhyped, AFAIAC. I live in Jakarta and apart from avoiding those areas one would usually ensue in any big city, I feel safe here for the most part. Exercise the usual caution one would in an urban environment and you will be fine. Any further questions, feel free to ask. |
