I'm buying a Quasimidi 309 (drum synthesizer) from a guy in the UK and am wondering if I'll need an inverter to use it here. He says its standard EU, I believe he said it was 240v 50 Hz.

The voltage is fine (240VAC) but the frequency is a bit off (60Hz here).

It shouldn't hurt the electronics BUT it may cause the sounds to be altered somewhat.

An inverter (for changing DC to AC) won't help.

I think that perhaps you meant a voltage converter/step down transformer and that won't help either (assuming you plan to use this item in Korea). It is already at the correct voltage.

You will need to replace the power supply if you plan to use it in North America.
