I've given up trying to sort out what's best and will convert Won to Euro's before leaving Korea.
I don't live in Seoul and likely difficult to get Euro cash here.
Can you buy Euros in airport departure at reasonable rate or should I exchange somewhere in Seoul before ????? |

You should be able to get EUROs at your local bank that does currency exchange. (not all banks do currency exchange so you may have to check first). If they have the rate posted on the wall they usually have the currency to go with it.
KEB usually has them in stock as does the KB* currency exchange desk.
You can get EUROs at the banks or the currency exchanges in the airport. The rates are comparable to the banks in Seoul.
If you are taking it home, the best bet is to get a cashiers check payable to yourself in the denomination of your choice. Open your bank account at home and just deposit it.
