Not trying to stir up the pot with home pride or anything. I'm just curious to see how many Nova Scotians are about.
Apparently there was some sort of head count back in my hometown about how many university grads trekked off to Alberta (out West) and other places, South Korea being one of the big ones. I've heard that it's hurting my father's company a bit (Michelin) which prefers university graduates, as South Korea pays better and doesn't involve working exclusively graveyard shifts for $14/hr.
I've also been told that the number of people to come here from my hometown (pop. 3,000) is closer to 100 than 0, and quite a few of those have come recently.
That being said, who here is from good ol' Nova Scotia? How long have you been here? Where exactly are you from?
If we end up knowing the same people then some kind of get together is definitely in order. |

Dude, you can't swing a cat without hitting a "Schooner". Go to your nearest major intersection and shout, "I've got a case of Keith's!", and they'll come-a-runnin', I tells ya. |
