The director of my hagwon has offered to buy some English board games for the school. What are some good games we can buy? The only one I can think of is Taboo. Any other suggestions?

Check out Cheapass Games. Very simple rules, quick games (1min-1hour play time), highly creative scenerios and very cheap (I think $8.00 is their most expensive game). I have tons of board games and my students always opt for a Cheapass Game over the usual games.

You can order them from paizo.com

I used to use IQ 2000 a lot. Don't know if it's still available but it is VERY efl friendly. I still have the game cards in a stack I use for conversation/games in class.

On the games page of EFL Classroom 2.0, if you have a computer, are tons of trivia, clue, monopoly, scrabble etc games. Also printable games in our teaching folder if available (I'm in the process of changing to our own server so it has limited availability right now, sorry).
