Can I come on my Korean brand scooter... it looks like shite, but I can get up to 110 in the tunnels if there is no wind and if I lean over the handle bars...

I would be interested if we had some place in mind to go to ... eg. cruise up to yongsan tower or some parks, mountain roads etc...

If its just riding around seoul in circles following the green line then that might not be so fun!

Namsan's good, also Gangnam/Apkujeong area is not bad too for some urban cruising.

If you have a license from your home country, for most countries, you can just exchange it for a Korean license at the DMV near COEX.

Or go to that new Seoul Global Center for Foreigners downtown. I heard they do that there too.

Took me about 20 minutes and 12,000 won. They do hold onto your license till you leave the country since it's technically illegal to hold two licenses at the same time.

What? They never held onto my USA license. I got mine 5 years ago, though. Has something changed? First time I've heard of this.

I got mine 2 years ago, and yes, they did hold onto my US license. No big deal, it has expired anyway Laughing .

Im interested too. Probably the best roads with in Seoul to go out are behind Gkungbokun palace near Gwanghamoon. There are some twisty mountain roads that follow the old city walls throught the mountains. There is a good rest stop at the top with a restaurant and a view.

I'm definitely up for it.
