Hello all,
I am a newbie and this is my first post. I am sure there are many posts that answer some of the questions that I have to ask and I have read a lot that do, but some also confuse things a bit. My husband and I are planning, if all goes well, to leave in June. I will be applying for the F-4 visa as soon as my rents send me my adoption documentation. So, I have several questions:
1. Does the F-4 visa really get processed and issued in 1 day? I will be going to the Korean consulate in Boston, MA and have already spoken to them about what paperwork I need.
2. In an earlier thread someone posted their resume for people to look at, and I would like to know what people would consider is "different" between what you should stress on a resume if your applying for a job here in the states as opposed to a teaching job in Korea?
3. Does anyone have a resume that got them a job and can they send me a copy via my e-mail? [email protected]
That's all for now, I am just working on my resume and applying, but would like a bit more info. Feel free to reference other threads that might be of some help.
Thanks

The vast majority of those who will be looking at your resume will not understand a word of it. Just do a standard resume. In the objective, write a bit about teaching kids and cultural experience. |

I got an F-4, but sent it in the mail. I called the consulate and they gave me directions and I received it back in a self addressed envelope a few days later. |
