My guess is that you'll probably have to journey to Seoul once-in-a-while for Indian food. There are numerous Indian restaurants in Itaewon, including Ashoka, Taj Mahal, and Chakra ...
(- Unless there is a significant number of Indians in the Daegu area who have recently started up a restaurant I haven't heard of ...) |

There is at least one Indian restaurant in Daegu. I ate there and it was pretty good, though nothing special. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything about it.. general area, name, etc.
So.. maybe it's not a very useful post, but at least you know that there is at least one. |

There are 6 Indian restaurants in Daegu, as well as 1 Pakistani one:

buy the spices, make the leap, it's not that hard.
i was in poland for two years and i learned how to make curry myself. now when i go to restaurants i'm often disappointed. it has to be a good restaurant to do it better than you can at home with a bit of practice. |

There was a good one not far from the Seattle's Best downtown. But it has been 3 years so I've forgotten the name. It is on the second floor. |

There's another Indian / Nepalese place opened up in front of Kyungbuk University North Gate.
There is on right in front of the gate on the 2nd floor. THis one is in a little bit in where all the restaurants are. It's on the 2nd floor, right in front of Steff Hotdog. If you walk past Il Grappa, you've walked too far.
The name of the place is Maya. Food is pretty decently priced as well. Can get a set for about 12,000. Samosa's are 2,000 won for 2 and really tasty as well. |
