I'm sorry if this is in a faq someplace; I checked there and tried searching, but couldn't find the answer. I just bought a Korean usb keyboard, and I can't make it type in Hangul. It works; the lights come on, and the English works fine. I have the Korean Microsoft IME installed, and I'm running Vista. Can anyone help?

i don't have a Korean windows keyboard infront of me...but I seem to remember it is a key beside the spacebar...on one side is korean/english and the other side is for chinese characters I think. (Don't go ballistic if I am wrong...I am using a Mac and they have a different keyboard for those types of buttons)

On the blue bar across the bottom of the screen, just left of the clock and little icons bit is likely to be a "EN" thing.

Left click on this and then select "KO". If it is already KO you do need to do as ^ said and hit the key to the right of the spacebar.

I'm using XP, so forgive me if the menus aren't the exact same. First, just to make sure, in the CONTROL PANEL under REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS, LANGUAGES TAB, do you have Korean installed? I have to click DETAILS then I find everything in Korean.

Do you see the language bar anywhere on your screen? Mine is on the lower right hand side. I see KO then a taeguki, then A (because I'm typing in English) and then some Chinese character that I think must say something like "Hanja" and then some symbol of I don't know what (a coffee cup with a key in it? Whatever).

When I want to switch I can either click the A (which becomes 가) or I can hit the right alt key on the right side of my space bar.
