Just asking some buying advice about a bike I've checked out.
Its a Roadwin 125cc (2004), with 16,000 km and not a scratch on it. The guy selling is demanding a firm 1.35 million WON. I cant find anything cheaper, should i keep looking or go for it.
Thanks!!! |

that's actually a nice little bike. Low KMs and in good shape (from what you said) The price seems fare. |

i've had one before.
great bike, reliable.
only downsides are that the bike is heavy. and slow. you will want more power within a few weeks (even in seoul). most 125cc full sized bikes have this problem. feels a bit strange getting passed by 125cc scooters.
currently i have a 100cc ape which feels a lot more nimble. i can weave in and out of traffic no problem. the ape feels faster with the gearing it has but ofcourse its basically half the size.
overall great bike, just weak in power to weight. |

I concur. I had a Magma for a short time. It is everything that HK said. It is a good cheap bike that is easy to maintain. It is heavy and underpowered based on weight ratio, however. |

WOW, I just got back from Seoul where I met the guy to check out the bike in person... Took one look at it and was like WTF! Let's just say, if those pics I saw were of the same bike, they were taken before he used it as a sled on a freeway. Busted lights, torn up muffler, and marks all over it. So, I'm still looking.
And thanks for the offer on the Daelim Magma, but it's just not what I'm looking for. Thanks anyways! |

I think it's called the bait and switch.....seems to happen a lot in Korea. Try getting an appartment. They will show you wonderful pictures of spacious places with nice views and spend all day dragging you around to basement hovels insisting that they are the best in Seoul and the next will be better. |
