Dave's ESL Cafe is huge and is catering a large amount of users but recently I have been looking to move to another country and would like to post in the forums related to Hong Kong and the UK but I cannot login to post in those forums. Why? I would like access to all forums if that isn't too much trouble. |

Why don't you request a user name for those forums rather than posting here about it? |

I have requested the same username and I can't subsribe to that thread. I am just asking the MODS why I can't have access to all of Dave's ESL Cafe. Why is there limited access? |

You have to register for those forums seperately. |

Maybe they're annoyed by your over-sized avatar. |

Yeah, I wish it didn't require so many registrations. I signed up with the Asian forums about four years ago, then had to get a new ID for the Korea ones. Since I was already using that ID for the Asia forums, I had to think of a new one here since in the board's infinite wisdom I couldn't use the same one. (The "Smee" on the Asia boards is not me.) Then last year I wanted to ask a question on the teachers' forums, but neither of my two IDs would work. No way I was going to make a third for the same site. Besides, the teachers' forum just consists of people plugging their own hackneyed websites all the time anyway, so maybe I'm better off staying away. |
