I love to climb mountains with good friends.

*After climbing the mountain, we will have a meal therefore please bring about 5,000~10,000 KRW cash.

10:00 climbing
1:00 break time to have some snack on the top of a mountain
2:00 climbing down
4:00 break up or have a meal with climbing friends.

Mt. Gwanak, a noted mountain which the name of the district came from, has been known as a volcano located at the south of Seoul from ancient times.
It is not exaggeration to say that most of cultural inheritance of Gwanak-gu came from Mt. Gwanak, which maintains the long geographical features from east to west.
General Information
It was designated as the natural city park on January 15, 1968.
With the total area of 19,226,942㎡, Mt. Gwanak is situated over 4 districts in terms of the administrative zones, namely 11,412,035㎡ (59.4%) in Gwanak-gu, 2,120,595㎡ (11%) in Geumcheon-gu, 5,694,312㎡ (29.6%) in Gwacheon City and Anyang City of Gyeonggi-do. |
