Tweetybird, sorry to scare you. I hope to heaven's that my comments didn't sway you not to come. I should have mentioned that the accident (last year) and possible rowdiness might happen at night (after 6). If you stay just in the afternoon and leave before dark, you and your kids will have a ball. I hope you went to Dunestock after all. If you did, did you have a good time?

dd and I were there 2:00-4:00. I looked around for QL folks. I thought I might have seen Jauntie's dh. Sorry I missed Darude, Alexa, and others. Maybe next time. When's the next QLSG?

The sandstorm was no problem. It grew stronger by 3:30 so it was difficult to climb up the dunes. But dd and I spent the time "walking up" the dune in front of the stage and sliding downwards. dd loved sliding down the dunes. I couldn't find my camera so everything is a good memory in my mind. Does anyone have photos they could share?

As we were driving back along that overly narrow road, it seemed I was the only car leaving. It was non-stop cars COMING (Novi was coming while I was going....hmmm).

Cornellian, who are harbarbash guys? I saw one guy who was passed out on a smaller dune. A paramedic attended him and he seemed OK. Was he a harbarbash guy?

Spicemeup, a lot of good bands. The Neil Young covers were great.
