That's a damn shame. These Islamic militants are not going to go away, no matter how many times they get beat.
| Quote: |
Islamist militants have regrouped in Eritrea and vowed to fight an Iraq-style insurgency.
Somalia, which is divided between clans and awash with weapons, has not had a functioning government since warlords overthrew the dictator Mohamed Siad Barre in 1991 and then turned on each other. |
Somalia, by any definition, is a failed state. If the world community is serious about stopping the militants, then it needs to provide more support for the peace keepers and the interim government. |

I think you've lost me. Did you mean to say that Islamic radical was redundant? |

Maybe thats it. I just don't think there are non-Islamic radicals. |

There are plenty of non-radical Muslims on the planet today. Some of them even serve in the armed forces of Western countries.
There are also radical Christians, radical Jews, radical Hindus, radical Buddhists, and radical what-have-you. It's not Islam that causes their hatred. It's their love of hatred. |

At least they didnt have to put up with the sort of hardships we struggle through every day, spitting ajoshies, kimchi, crowded subways. They dont know how good they have it over there.

Of course it's not. The Al-Qaeda's of this world willfully ignore the message of peace and love to all men that is it at the heart of the Koran. |

Education and prosperity will take the edges of most radicalism. Not easy to do though. |

I don't want to change their religious beliefs. I believe they should be left alone to their own devices. |

| I have found that the best thing to do is ignore their plight but make sure nuclear weapons aren't allowed in and Muslim radicals aren't allowed out. They have a great free for all going on there that would make for a great reality show, but you'd be insane to even go in there. I also don't see the point of teaching them English. |
