Cheong Wa Dae and the government have decided to open up the hiring for the positions of director and chief in various ministries to public officials from other government offices and to the public. Public announcements are to be made for the hiring, and the policy is to be gradually put into effect, starting early next year. It was predicted that a minimum term of employment would be required, so that officials would have to work for over three years.
