What would be the best way to ship a flatscreen back to the UK or other electronic items?

I have a feeling there are import laws that would nail you for some big taxes on that one.

Not for personal effects if I am shipping stuff back.

They won't be new either.

I would have to pay 27.5% if they were new but personal effects are ok. Just need to shiip it the correct way.

I used to think I could get a pallet in a container but I'm not sure now.

I hear you can ship practically anything for $50 bucks by ship, (bikes, lead blocks, etc) but I don't know how to do it personally.
