I have already read the numerous threads concerning university interviewing and hiring (gotta be in country, have experience in Korea, take a bath, wear a tie, have MA in pocket, etc.), but I am wondering when most of the interviewing takes place? I have already applied for over 25 positions throughout Korea, and I am hoping to have 1 or 2 interview possibilities. I 'm not in Korea and should arrive the first week of January.
Is arriving in January too late? Do they only interview in November or December? I've read that December is one of the biggest hiring months for most schools in Korea, hogwans included. Is that true? Are just the scraps leftover in Januarythe schools for which no one will work? From reading all the posts I imagine hogwans are rotating staff every day of the year though!
What's your advice?
Thanks in advance.
PS. My apologies if this has all been done before. Just post me a link. |
