A delightful new musical, Teeth, will enjoy its 2nd run on the Seoul stage this April and May! This dynamic musical teaches children the importance of dental hygiene with vibrant choreography, bright costumes, and exciting musical numbers. Theatre Seoul , a children's theatre company based in Dehangno, will present 'Teeth' from April 23-May 18. The show features foreign actors and aims to entertain and educate Korean and foreign audiences alike. If you're hoping your hagwon goes on a fun field trip this spring, or youre a parent looking for some theatre in English, this is the show to see!
Teeth tells the story of Prince David. Prince David must rescue the beautiful Princess from an evil monster. All goes well, but once rescued, the Princess spurns David because of his ugly teeth! She shows Prince David his own mouth, in an attempt to educate him, but she is then kidnapped by his cavities! Prince David must learn how to care for his teeth, and only then will he get his love back. Packed with energy and humor, Teeth is an exciting, educational show for all children of all nationalities. The show features Bradly Curtin, an EBS actor and member of Seoul City Improv, and Molly Berg, a regular with Seoul Players. Several other foreigners will also perform.
Established in 1995, Theatre Seoul is Korea 's first and largest English Musical Theater Company for children, with almost 100 members. They have performed in New York , Shanghai , Edinburgh , and throughout Korea , including a special performance at the 2002 World Cup. Theatre Seoul presents two musicals a year in English, in addition to Teeth and its international touring show: Choon-Hyang: True Love. Teeth is Theatre Seoul's first show with foreign actors.
