Democrats Abroad R.O.K Official Organizational Meeting.

Sunday, April 27th, Democrats Abroad, The Republic of Korea branch will have an official organizational meeting and buffet brunch at The Big Rock Brewery in Gangnam, Seoul. Brunch starts around 1:30pm with meeting to follow around 3pm.

We will be adopting the initial bylaws of Democrats Abroad South Korea and electing a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Counsel. Shortly after officer elections we will form into committees and and begin to plan out our actions for Democrats Abroad R.O.K. On the Street Registration Crews, DA R.O.K. Fundraisers and creating Get Out and Vote Fliers are among the actions that registered members of DA R.O.K. can get involved with. You can also register to vote on the spot!

The much anticipated Pennsylvania primary will happen just a few days before our Sunday April 27 meeting so there should be lots of political pillow fighting to jump into. A local DA R.O.K member was recently quoted in the USA Today.
"It has been a veritable treasure-trove of exciting news every step of the way," says Krista Grimmett, 41, a civilian employee of the Defense Department at Osan Air Base in South Korea. "We are Americans living abroad, and we are following this election with a tenacity usually reserved only for the Final Four during March Madness."
