Yesterday I saw a cow in a field.
Very nice.
Here it is again from a different angle.

Nice to see a farmer still using animal labor. |

This was outside Yeosu. We're got loads of oxen here, but this is the first time I've actually seen one plowing a field.
We have lots of black goats all over the place too.
Remember the James Bond movie a few years ago? The scene with the North Korean plowing a field with an ox caused a big stir, as they said it portrayed Korea as a third world country. Silly. |

I'm an hour and a bit away from you, in a town in western Gyeongsangnamdo.

I have seen those in EVERY province and on many islands. If you haven't seen a black goat in this country you simply haven't gotten out much. |

I was about to comment about how posting these pictures might cause a problem with the Korean public... you might want to retract it now before you have to apologize |

Yes, but our goats are much cuter and bleat with a distinctive Cholla accent. As everyone knows, the goats of KyeongsangDo are gangster goats.

Hmmm....lame. Yesterday, I saw maybe 50 cows, Holsteins and some brown beef ones, a goat farm (gotta get me one of them), a frog farm, a couple of puupy mills and food dog outfits (gotta get me one of them too), and some ducks.
I love the smell of cow poop. |

I forgot to mention that just as I was putting my camera away the cute little goat was pounced upon and eaten by one of Korea's last remaining tigers.
Tiger shit smells like goats. |
