Judging from the 63 building in the background, it looks like it's on the north side of the Han river slightly to the west of Mapo.

Gwangheungchang station looks closest.

I've never seen that place and I've been all over the north side of the river west of the 63 building. Since I haven't seen it, it's probably Nan-ji-do, the old city trash heap that is covered over by grassy vegetation now.

It is that trapazoidal shape in the skyline you will see when west-bound on the 88 highway looking north. It is also south-ish of the 2002 soccer stadium, I forget what it's called.

It looks a little freaky and I'd like to see it too. The methane produced from the heap makes for weird vegetation go nuts to grow there, I guess. Great pic though, but I doubt tourists would want to go there if where I think it is is true.

probably photoshop,
def. use of filters to punch up the green.
I often cycle down there(wearing a pollution mask,of course) and have never seen it.

maybe it is matted in to mask something even more ugly in the foreground?..there are lot of rusting pipes, cracked concrete etc and ex industrial deutris around the river banks.

god its ugly there...but the best they can cough up,i suppose.
