I just walked into the boys restroom in the public school I work at five minutes before class. I caught one of my students mid-defecation at the urinal, when there are three western toilets directly across from the urinals.

He is old enough to know that you don't do that in the urinal. To make it worse, he had poo on his hands. WTF? He looked at me and froze. He then stands up and runs into the stall to finish the job. To older boys came in right as he was doing this, the see us standing there, then walk over to the urinal, look in, and one of them starts uncontrollably laughing.

What is wrong here where a 10 year old boy is doing this? I spent the next five minutes telling him, and he understands me, that we do not put poo in the urinal, that it goes in the toilet. He runs back to the hall, I grab him by his shirt, walk him over to the sink, run back to my classroom, get the rubber gloves and soap, and start to clean his hands for him. This is amazing.

How would you handle this kind of situation?

Sounds to me as if he was dared (or told) to do it by the older boys.

Well for one thing, I wouldn't clean his hands for him. The last thing I'd be doing is getting anywhere near the kid.

Doesn't your school have seperate toilets for teachers?

Such respectful, dignified lives we lead.

Rub his nose in it.

We're not social workers. I'd get another teacher to talk to him, preferable one who won't beat more crap out of him. Getting him to clean it up is a good idea, but for the love of dokdo keep your distance.

I agree. The kid would have had to just come down from the mountain tops to not know the difference between a urinal and a western toilet, even a urinal and those little porcelain holes in the floor. And though one could argue that perhaps he 'just didn't know', I'm sure that wasn't his first day at the school that offered both urinals and toilets.

Yup, sounds like one of the many humiliating things younger students are forced to do by older ones Rolling Eyes

Maybe he doesn't know how to use a western toilet.

I thought he was doing it as a joke or on a dare until the part where he had poop on his hands. Nobody in their right mind would be handling poop like that, even their own. That he ran into the stall to finish the dump indicates he knew where he was supposed to have been doing it all along. He has "issues" that needs to be addressed by a licensed mental health professional.

He may have run into the stall because the teacher scared him.

There are people who, instead of toilet paper, use a hand and water. (No, I'm not one of them.)

My old school had a "Mystery Pooper" who used to leave little gifts in the hallways, stairways etc. The pooper is still at large as far as I know.

I would have got the mop and pushed the little cunt into the teachers room and told them all what he did.

There is a phantom shitter at my school. Leaves the lid down so when you open it there it is looking back at you. Sometimes on A4 paper as well so it stinks.

Once saw one of those round choco pie things used in place of a poo. Stank like one and looked like one too/ Very convincing.
