I was told there is a temple stay program (somewhere near Busan) that also has some sort of Martial artist there.

Anyone know the name of this temple, or one similar like it where I can do a temple stay?

There is a temple near Busan that is known for martial arts, or so I'm told. I talked to people who went to this one, but I fail to recall the name of the temple. If anyone knows a Korean who knows the temple, that would be great. Apparently the guys do all kinds of crazy stuff. The one story I heard was the one monk goes from a lotus sitting position, springs up and does a full scissor kick, only to land back into a full lotus!

Sung moo do is about the only temple martial art in SK. I don't know the specifics or prices/accomodation but it's a lot like Shaolin Kung Fu which means it's pretty difficult. If you are in really good shape as in Hapkido, Gumdo standards it would probably be ok but going in cold.....ouch!
