It's real show called Global Ting on cable TV.
Foreign Girls compete each other to get a date with korean Guy in Sauna.
Finally one girl won the game and had a time with him in Sauna.
I was impressed to see those foreign girls do their best to get a date.

| My only question is, why go to the sauna on a date? Why not a nice restaurant, the movie theatre or even a singing room? |

I like this one, it's about four wise-cracking senior citizens living in Florida. The oldest one is my favorite. She's a real spark plug. I'm impressed by how they always learn a little something about life, themselves, and each other in every episode. |

Because the girls on the shows are actually prostitutes who need to get money for crack. So it's win-win-- the Korean guys get to show everyone that they're appealing to westerners and the foreign women get to buy crack. |

i really like "The Office",its a british tv show.
sometimes the men make jokes about the women who work there..but by the end of the programe they all learn something about themselves.
im really impressed with how the males and female in the show interact.
like equal people.
one of the girls in it is hot.
she is my favorite .
who is you favorite?
last year america has brought and copied the series.

| there is this show when men from all over the world try to kick asian men in the face. maybe you have heard of it. Sometimes the Asian men lose. I was really impressed how many non-asians want to roundhouse kick asian men. After you kick the asian's ass you get to go to the sauna. Its called k-1. Maybe you have heard of it? |

See the thing is fine, whatever, if you want to have these kinds of shows then so be it.
But why doesn't it work the other way around? Why not also have foreign guys trying to pick up Korean girls? I know "Chatting with Beauties" had a special male version, but that was only for one episiod.
So why the disparity? I'm sure the foreign men with Korean women would be a ratings success too. Especially amongst the ladies here.
Again, why the dispariety?
Well in reality there is a huge dispariety in the dating and marriage scene between Korean men/Western women and Korean women/Western men. This is a fact.
I'm not sure why this is (cultural acceptance, family issues, status, physical attraction), but that's the way it is.
Therefore these programs like the one DenielKim posted as well as others like Chatting with Beauties serve as a way to compensate for the fractured Korean male ego.
It's kind of sad really.
I don't mean to be insensitive and I have nothing against Korean or anybody else dating people from my own culture. Hell I'd even set up one of my gyopo friends with my little sister if the opportunity ever presented itself.
But these shows on the televison are still pathetic in that they are focused primarily towards one side. It's like "dude, why are you trying so hard?" |

Why you gotta be such a hater? Why are YOU trying so hard? It's so obvious that you have such an inferiority complex that all you can do is make fun of Koreans. Don't be jealous that you're not as good looking, smooth, well dressed, and gentlemanly as our Korean overlords.
It's the 21st century. The Korean wave is here. Why are you trying to resist it? Bow down and give in. There's no hope for us sad white men. Trust me. I saw it on TV. | Interestingly enough. Most Korean guys so 'out of the system' that they could have foreign women, are usally not in situation where they can afford them. However, most women that want foreign husbands come from a low enough social class that a foreigner is an improvment to singlehood, or working the da-bang. In a nut shell, most Asian men who have nothing to lose by marrying a foreigner are not able to attract them. |
