Any idea what to search for on Danawa etc for headphone amps.
With a Toslink input and preferable Dolby Headphones (but not necessary) |

I don't know about 'headphone amp only' with Toslink connections. Technology changes so quickly. I use a Beresford TC-7510 MK3/V6 which is a DAC with 2 Coaxial / 2 Optical connections and it has a nice headphone amp section, which I use often. Matches well with my Ultrasone HFI 700 and sleek SA-6.
It was shipped in from outside Korea though. I didn't pay any duty. $179. I don't know if it is available within Korea.
For portable use I use a Meier-Audio Corda XXS, which hasn't let me down for home use too.
Maybe look at Meier-Audio home stuff. You won't be disappointed.

I want toslink to take the digital from my Xbox 360.
Seen a JVC amp.
Also Waveon
And a Sony model that I can't track down anywhere in Korea. |
